Provenance: Property from the Saul Brandman Foundation. Beverly Hill, California. Vase in red tone Sumida pottery fabrication, circa Meiji period. Country of origin: Japan. Thisvase has a multi-colored drip glaze design in tones of ebony and white. There is an applied pottery design of a male figure standing on a log with a ball in his hand. There is a stamp on the bottom in Japanese characters by Ryosai. This vase measures 6 inches tall by 2.5 inches in diameter. Provenance: Property from the Saul Brandman Foundation.
