Description

Antique LEASURE TIME Mechanical Vacuum Cleaner. Once described as the "mechanical marvel", this walk behind vacuum was made in Bradford, PA. and was listed as a "novel household item made in the era before electricity was available practically in home. The wheels drive articulated pushrods that move the twin diaphragms--really interesting to watch in person." Patented in 1909 by James W. Leasure. The body is all metal, with some rusting due to age. It measures 24" long x 10" wide x 33.5" floor to handle. The weight is 31lbs. Please refer to all photos. Overall in good condition.
