Chinese Ming Dynasty Xuande Blue and White Porcelain Tall Bowl. The porcelain potted in a shallow, slight deep, round close mouth rim, raised on ring high-foot. High foot bowl, also known as Ba Wan, date back to Yuan Dynasty. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in white base color which contrast against blue color depicted of elders relax seating on banquet table. A characteristic heaped and piled effect, the under glaze grayfish-blue concentrates in certain areas, bubbling through the surface of the glaze and turning a deep blue-black. This inadvertently gave texture, energy, and shading to the design.The underside unglazed, revealed the pale-creme ground revealed and dark grayfish brown spotted firing marks and edge-cut foot rim.

Over all in EXCELLENT Condition. Natural imperfection on the medium (porcelain), regardless from any major damages; includes minor scratches. Consider normal due to the ages.
