Description
China, Qing Dynasty (1644-1912). Of cylindrical form with a straight cylindrical neck and recessed base. The bottle finely decorated in underglaze blue and iron red depicting a palace scene with royalty and entertainers, as well as palace buildings and court people in a mountainous landscape, the shoulder minutely painted with geometric designs and floral motifs. The recessed base with an apocryphal six-character Yongzheng reign mark.
Condition: Good condition with minor surface wear, some manufacturing flaws, such as firing irregularities and dark spots, and fritting to rims.
