A FINE EMBOSSED BURMESE SILVER VESSEL, c. 1900s
Burma / Myanmar, late 19th - early 20th century. The finely embossed and chased repousse silver bowl, centered with an emblem showing an incised dedication, a band of lobed reserves, each comprising various Buddhist symbols, deities, and animals, enclosed by a band of leafy scrolls to the bottom and foliated scrolls to the rim. The base bearing an incised flower.
Condition: Good condition with minimal surface wear, slight surface scratches, and minor dents.
Provenance: Austrian private collection.
