A flat section hinged bangle with a central six row plaited twisted gold and elephant hair section, with pairs of plain bands to each side with twisted elephant hair running between. An applied monogram with a crown above to a concealed box clasp. Tested as approximately 20/21ct gold. The original case with an applied paper label to the inside of the lid “Made from Pure Gold at His Imperial Majesty’s Private Treasury”. 19.50mm wide, interior dimensions 55mm x 60mm, 57.76g Condition Report: Scratches and marks consistent with its age. Some of the elephant hair has lifted out of position or has small kinks.
