Description
Native American, 4th Qtr - 20th century. Unusual squash style sterling silver necklace with seven inlaid discs (turquoise, coral, mother of pearl and jet), each with a bird and floral motif, larger center disc with cardinal. Necklace is double strung on hollow sterling beads. Large pendant marked "STERLING', "B", attributed to Bennie Bowekaty Zuni. Necklace measures approx. 27"l,, center disc 2" diameter, 103.5gr. Together with pair of oval sterling earrings, 1"l x .75"w, each with inlaid cardinal, 7gr. Overall condition very good, minor wear commensurate with age.
