BRITISH SPATTERWARE CHILDREN'S CERAMIC TEA ARTICLES, LOT OF EIGHT, comprising two teapots including one with blue- and mulberry-sponged decoration and one with blue-sponged decoration, lacking cover, and three cup and saucer sets including one mulberry/purple sponge-decorated example, one with polychrome hand-painted peafowl design with blue-sponged decoration, having impressed "B" to saucer underside, and one with polychrome Cluster of Buds design to center with blue- and mulberry-sponged decoration, impressed "HARVEY" to underside of saucer. Charles & William Kenwright Harvey, Longton, England; and others. First half 19th century. 3 1/2" HOA.

Condition
Five undamaged; blue teapot with minute flake to end of spout; peafowl cup with minor rim flake and moderate crazing; blue/mulberry teapot having some yellowing restoration to rim, end of spout, and cover.
