PENNSYLVANIA ATTRIBUTED "MELON PATCH" PIECED QUILT, hand-stitched, also known as "Orange Peel", double pink and green print fabrics, nine large pattern blocks with a cheddar fabric frame and a wide outer border, featuring echoed outline, diagonal grid, and chain quilting completed in white, orange, and black thread, knife binding with machine-stitching, four-paneled patchwork-printed fabric backing. Fourth quarter 19th century. 80" x 80".
