Probably manufactured by Steelcase, this table features base identical to the example at the Johnson Wax Administration Building with a wood top that was recently added to this piece.

Although this table appears similar to Frank Lloyd Wright furniture used in The Great Workroom, there is no record of this piece ever being owned by S.C. Johnson & Son, Inc. or being used in The Great Workroom of the S.C. Johnson Administration Building or any other S.C. Johnson facility.

This work will ship from Chicago, Illinois.

Top is not original to the base, and the round form is not original to the design. Top veneer shows long narrow seam separations due to wood movement of the solid substrate. Base show light scratching and losses to the enamel especially along outermost areas of the three legs. One leveling foot does not precisely match the other two and appears to be a custom-made replacement. Table is structurally sound and in very good overall vintage condition.
