Paul Henri Mallet was an 18th-century historian, who is best remembered for his studies on Scandinavian and Teutonic history. The book “Northern Antiquities” is an account of the customs of ancient Scandinavian people, focusing on the people from Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and Iceland. It also features portions of the Norse epic “Eyrbyggja Saga”.
This 1847 edition was translated into English by Bishop Percy and includes commentary and notes by I.A. Blackwell.

Morton Jacob Netzorg (1912-1996) was an American bibliophile and author. Born in the Philippines to parents who were helping relocate Jewish refugees during WWII, Morton returned to the states in the 1950s and opened the Cellar Book Shop, which specialized in literature regarding Southeast Asia (the Philippines and Pacific Islands in particular). He also authored several essays, childrens books, memoirs, and annotated bibliographies regarding the Philippines, specifically during the WWII period. He also married Petra Fuld, the sister of Bracha Fuld (1927–1946), a Jewish resistance fighter who died in an attempt to help Jewish Holocaust refugees enter Palestine. She was the first female Jewish soldier killed during the pre-state conflict with the British.
