Description
ANNAPOLIS, MARYLAND, ATTRIBUTED, INLAID MAHOGANY AND SATINWOOD CARD / GAMES TABLE, rectangular hinged-top over single drawer in one end with original brass pull, raised on square legs terminating in original spade feet, featuring oval paterae design to stiles. Pine and white oak secondary woods. Retains an old surface with warm color. Possibly the shop of John Shaw (1745-1829), Annapolis, Maryland. Circa 1800. 29 1/2" H, 34" x 16 1/2" top (closed).

Condition
(Updated 6/10/2023) Very good overall condition, small old patch repair to rear of top at one hinge, one inner foot facing is an old replacement, minor wear.
