Ron Blumberg Framed Painting, "Beggar Woman." Stunning small palette knife painting on masonite of a seated woman in a richly colored blue-green robe. Initialed RB lower right. In a wooden frame with linen liner. Signed and titled on the back. Ron Blumberg (American 1908-2002) was born in Reading, Pennsylvania. He studied at the National Academy of Design, Art Students League in New York City, and l’Academie de la Grande Chaumiere in Paris. He painted in a wide variety of styles throughout his career and was well exhibited, passing away in Los Angeles in 2002.
