A Turkish hand-embroidered and painted artwork on fabric. The piece represents the signature of Abdul Hamid II, 1842 to 1918, the last Emperor of the Ottoman Empire. Golden threads, black and red paint. Signed by the artist and dated 1994 on the backside. Inscription in Turkish on the backside: Presented from the Karshoglu family to the Unusan family, 28 May 1995, Autograph of Osman Sultan Abdul Hamid II. White mat, golden frame.
