Description
These are a stunning pair of apothecary jars from the Art Deco era. Each clear glass jar has an acorn finial. The stands with pretty Art Deco details appear to be aluminum. Both approx. 23.5" tall including stands. These pieces were inherited and passed down through the family by the founders. Horton & Converse was founded by Charles Horton and Lawrence Converse in December,1917. Throughout the 1920s and 1930s began to expand throughout southern California including Beverly Hills, Pasadena, San Bernardino among them. They are now more than pharmaceuticals, the provide home health equipment and supplies.
Condition
Overall visually in great condition. One has some blue residue in the stopper and minor chip.
