DESCRIPTION: E.A. Yeran Pocket Dictionary or Pocket Companian. English-Armenian. Printed in Boston. Eighth Edition. C. 1910-20. Softcover with leather wrap. Edward Arakel Yeran (b. 1876) was one of the first Armenian-American publishers and operated out of Boston. This pocket dictionary first appeared in newspaper advertisements as early as 1906, with this version likely being printed around the time of the Armenian Genocide. MEASUREMENTS: 6-1/8" high x 3-5/8" wide. CONDITION: Overall good. Some chipping to leather along spine and edges of covers. Some bumping to corners. Text block remains intact and bound well.
