This Original 1945 Chromolithograph Ringling Bros. & Barnum & Bailey Poster is in good condition. It does have some missing paper at the top but the rest is in excellent condition. You could say that the missing part give it authenticity. Measures 14” x 7 ¾”. In 1919, responding to labor shortages and complications to rail travel brought about by American involvement in World War I, the Ringling combined their two circuses into one, which they called Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Combined Shows. The most famous Circus in the world went out of business in 2017. What a shame that the public would no longer support entertainment such as this. I took my granddaughter to a small one recently and she had a blast and enjoyed it so much. This poster brings back such memories, too bad we can no longer make them.
