A pair of antique American deerskin leather postcards decorated with pyrogaphy. First. Landscape picture with inscription Home Sweet Home Des Moins. Dated 1906. Second. A picture of a man with inscription Everything comes to those who wait, And the lazy man waits to greet it, But success comes on with a rapid gait To the fellow who goes to meet it. Dated 1907. Both postcards are signed and stamped. The postcard boom of the early 1900s stimulated the emergence of leather postcards.
