A FAMILLE-ROSE FOLIATE-EDGED 'TOBACCO LEAF' SAUCEBOAT Qianlong period, circa 1760-1780 Painted in rich enamels to the interior with brightly-colored serrated leaves in underglaze-blue, lime green, iron-red and pink with gilt highlights, and interspersed with hibiscus and pinwheel octa-foil composite flowerheads, the exterior similarly painted and with a pouring spout at one end and a simple loop handle at the other. 8 1/4in (21.3cm) across Footnotes: Provenance: Phyllis and Louis Gross, South Orange, New Jersey, 21 October 1979 For further information on this lot please visit Bonhams.com
