C. J. Yao (1941 - 2000) was active/lived in China, Taiwan, Province of China. C Yao is known for Painting. His expertise is in oil painting and watercolor; graduated from National Taiwan Normal University in 1965 (Fine Art Department). Early stages he formed a painting association with his peer. He was known for his abstract style creations. Yao Ching-Chang moved to the US in 1970 and began his surrealism paintings becoming an important representative artist from Taiwan.
