A Regency mahogany and satinwood drum center table circa 1810
(H: 29 1/2 in. Dia: 44 3/4 in.)
In two parts, with round top having embossed leather writing top, four drawers and four faux drawer fronts, on flared base with brass casters.

Property formerly in the collection of Christine O. Groves Burton (1893-1973), Baltimore, Maryland
Thence by descent to the present consignor.
Note
The majority of the items from this collection were acquired or ordered by Christine O. Groves (Burton) to furnish her home, built 1922, a Colonial Revival stucco mansion located at 225 Northway, Baltimore, Maryland. The house still stands.
Condition
great condition overall; structurally sound and stable; one area of loss to reeded molding along lower rim of top, and a couple minor areas of lifting to molding along lower edge of top; some occasional scuffs and scrapes to wood edges of top; one drawer fits somewhat askew; brasses are replaced, and evidence of former screw holes to interior of drawers; one drawer with interior dividers; embossed green leather top with nice patina with age, and having scattered scuffs and scrapes indicative of age, although this may not be original
