Chinese 18th Century White Jade Oval Plaque carved in relief with a Buddha's Hand Citron, a descending Bat and branches of Lingzhi, now mounted in a Silver wire Hand Mirror with tiny enameled pairs of Cranes, Lingzhi & Clouds between 4 red tourmaline cabochons and 4 green Jadeite cabochons, the handle with 2 enameled Bats, impressed "SILVER" mark to frame edge. Height of Jade plaque 4 1/4 inches (10.8 cm.). Total height of mirror with handle 10 1/2 inches (26.5 cm.). PROVENANCE: A Park Avenue, NYC Collector.
Condition
Jade and silver with light age related wear, the enameled bats and silver at top of handle with slight flakes and lines, the mirror glass with a vertical crack.
