Pair of Chinese blue and white porcelain vases, floral design with Qing Qianlong marks on bases, and original hardwood stands, 27" H. Provenance: Property of Mrs. Lulu Spicer, Boston, Massachusetts, Acquired from Booth & Kilber Decorative Co., 1428 Olive street, St. Louis, Missouri, by R. U. Leonori, Jr. & Co. Auctions, on May 30th 1889. Related reference: The Palace Museum in Beijing has the same vase. Sotheby's Hong Kong. October 5, 2011. Lot 1920.Additional description and picturesThe shape is complete.In long-term use, it is well protected. No traces of bumps or patches were seen. Naturally stale. In keeping with the times. There is a word at the bottom: Qianlong year system of the Qing Dynasty. Top and bottom with scuffs and minor marks on surface. Wooden base. Mahogany wood is fine. The carving work is very fine. very beautiful. Well protected too. above situation. for reference only.
