Rarely offered bronze sculpture of a heroic male holding a large flag in one arm and a mother and child protectively. He is striding forward bringing them along his revolutionary path. Renowned Latin American artist Francisco Zuniga sculpted the monumental figures with large drapes flowing over their bodies in a Classical style that results in a solid mass of in the shape of a diagonal pyramid. Beautiful brown patina. Signatured and date inscribed on front right of base: Zuniga, 58.
