Antique Colt Model 1877, SN 89546, aka Lightning. Manufactured circa 1893, this is a .38 caliber, 6-shot revolver with a 3 1/2” barrel and rubber stocks. The short barrel, ejector-less model is also referred to as a store keeper model. The revolver has been professionally restored and is now in excellent condition with virtually all of the reapplied finish. The action functions properly in both SA and DA. The bore is very good and the original rubber stocks have excellent fit and condition. There is a small ampersand on the right, rear trigger guards bow, indicating that it may have been Colt factory refurbished. THE LATE MICHAEL HUTYRA ESTATE
