Description

Aesthetic Movement c.1875 modelled as a Chinese drum with a drummer at each end, all upon a shaped pedestal base with Chinese motif to the edges, shape no. 1896, 6 1/2"h, 7"w. Although this shape appears in a porcelain body with tricolour decoration, there are only two known majolica examples.
