- 1909 first edition of "The Lectures of Bret Harte" by Charles Meeker Kozlay, published and printed by Charles Meeker Kozlay (Brooklyn)
- 1906 first edition of "Memoirs of my Dead Life" by George Moore, with author's autograph pasted on front flyleaf, published by William Heinneman (London)
- 1900 first edition of "Shadowings" by Lafcadio Hearn, with original decorated book cloth, published by Little Brown and Co. (Boston)
- 1901 first edition and first issue of "The Octopus" by Frank Norris, published by Doubleday Page & Co. (New York), with two spelling errors on pages 135 and 211
