This is a high quality cast bronze in rich brown/black patina of a pan holding a goat, Lost wax Cire Perdue casting bears the engraved " Roman Bronze Works, NY" on the side of the base and the artist signature. It is heavy about 40 lbs in weight. Jess Lawson Peacey (18 February 1885 – 29 June 1965) was a British sculptor. Her work was part of the sculpture event in the art competition at the 1932 Summer Olympics. Born 18 February 1885, Edinburgh, ScotlandDied 29 June 1965 (aged 80) San Francisco, California, United States. 25 in. high, Good condition
