Attributed to: Gertrude Abercrombie (AMERICAN, 1909-1977) oil on board, Interior with cat by a table with blue vase. sight size 8 x 11 inches. This Painting is in impressionistic manner with a loaded brush. There appears to be two artists thumbprints along the painting right edge just above the signature. This painting believed to be a study for the larger painting titled white Cat which is in the Smithsonian. Early in the artist career her paintings where looser and more impressionistic, probably painted ca. 1935 in this earlier period.

Overall good condition framed under glass examined in the frame. Appears Original Untouched, does not look to have been out of the frame judging by the rusty hanging hook and rusted out nails on the back . The nails meticulously nailed to cardboard-like backing to frame.
