Group of Cowan Pottery "Oriental Red" Glazed Wares, Rocky River (Cleveland), Ohio, 1928-1930's. Comprising a bucking horse bookend, designed by Waylande Desantis Gregory (American, 1905-1971); a vase, and a pair of candlesticks, all impressed "COWAN," and with the impressed "COWAN" circular "RG" mark. Bucking horse bookend: H: 9 in., W: 5.25 in., D: 3.625 in. Candlesticks: H: 1.625 in., W: 4.75 in., D: 2.625 in.
