Description
Two English Delft Plates and a Quill Holder, 1740-60, the first plate in red, blue and green and depicting a stylized plant; the second plate in blue and painted with a songbird on a branch; the hexagonal quill holder painted around the sides with flowerheads, and on the top with groups of dots, on four peg feet. Plates: H: 1.125 in., Diam: 8.625 in. Inkwell: H: 2.125 in., W: 4.125 in./, D: 3.625 in.
