Eight Free-Blown and Engraved Colorless Lead Glass Flip Glasses and a Decanter, Late Eighteenth-Early Nineteenth Century. Comprising a large glass engraved on one side with a tulip and leaves in a two-handled basket, and on the other with a foliate device; a glass engraved with a flower stem; and five glasses, each surrounded by a border of trellis diaper ovals and demi-flowerheads below the rim, three pattern-molded with flutes; the partly-fluted decanter surrounded by a border of foliate sprays suspending tassels joined by a garland, signed with initials "WJ" (?) beneath. Largest flip glass: H: 7.375 in., Diam: 5.5 in. Decanter: H: 12.25 in., Diam: 4 in.
