San Ildefonso Pueblo Blackware Bowl, Juanita Wo-peen Gonzales (1909-1988); and a Northwest Coast Indians (Vancouver) Woven Basket, Early Twentieth Century. The bowl deeply-carved black on black in a cloud and lightning pattern, signed "Juanita;" the basket and cover woven in grasses and cedar in the Nuu-chah-nulth (Nootka) tradition with designs in red around the interior cover and sides, Bowl: H: 3 in., Diam: 5 in. (at widest point) Basket: H: 2.75 in., Diam: 5.375 in.
