The Studio, decorated with murals by prominent Gilded Age to Art Deco artist colleagues and the site of legendary soirees attended by a Whos Who of actors, painters and philanthropists, has been listed for sale, emptied of contents and staged for its real estate sale listing. Note the sale is online only with no in person auction audience or warehouse activity the day of sale or the Sunday after the sale.
Condition
Two additional opened metal reel images have been added. Films overall appear sound, pliable and viewable, none have been run, 50ft reel boxes have some postal stamps, various inscriptions and are a bit tattered and dusty in estate discovery condition. We were asked about if a vinegar odor and while the film has a bit of a chemical smell it is not overt nor at least to us is it distinctly vinegar. Films in metal cases appear in very nice shape.
