Five French "Premier Jour d'Emission" cover envelopes, featuring Jean-Baptiste Drouet alerting fellow revolutionaries that Louis XVI was in a carriage passing through Varennes, ultimately leading to the King and Queen (Marie Antoinette) being executed by the infamous guillotine at the Place de la Concorde.
