I have been lucky enough to have two pieces in this unknown design over the years. There are so many incredible details packed into the one piece - maybe more than any other design I've seen. Take a look at the flat stars around the outer portion of the design - usually stars like this take up the entire field laid out for them, but somehow this cutter made space for crosshatching in the four corners of the field! Then there's the unusual band of modified, non-perpendicular cane! Or how about the fields of deeply cut, tightly arranged triple miter cane (like Libbey's Celeste)! This bowl has everything and more and is of the highest quality.
