Description
Orson Byron Lowell (American, 1871-1956). An original mixed media painting on paper. Ink and gouache. Titled, "Going Home." A figural work depicting passenger and porter figures, dressed in Edwardian style costume, with a large architectural entranceway to a port or train station building. Artist signature to lower left ORSON LOWELL. Hand written title to upper right. Produced as an illustration for a magazine cover. Original hand written note from ART O RAMA GALLERY in New Rochelle, New York, where the artist made his home. Presented under glass in a museum quality carved wood frame. Sight size measures approximately 14" x 18.25".
Dimensions: 22 X 26.25 X 1.75 in.
Condition: Good overall condition with moderate age related surface wear, and toning. Frame having moderate age related wear to edges and corners. Estate fresh to the market.
