An antique French art glass advertising bottle statue, produced circa 1900 for Bonbons John Tavernier (Paris). A figural group display for Les Meilleurs ("the best") candy, hand painted and modeled as a male religious figure costumed in bishop's regalia and mitre crown, with putti cherub figures, raised relief letters to front of circular base SAINT NICOLAS, and back having raised relief letters BONBONS JOHN TAVERNIER LES MEILLEURS.
Dimensions: 16 X 4.5 X 4 in.
Condition: Good to fair condition having moderate age related surface wear and enamel paint loss. Estate fresh to the market.
