DESCRIPTION: English early 19th century camphor wood campaign chest of drawers. English military campaign chest with the original recessed brasses, keyhole escutcheons and brass corner mounts. This is a campaign chest to carry in field for an officer in time of war. With lateral brass handles. The central top drawer has a hinged door that opens to a secretaire compartment.
