Description
DESCRIPTION: After Auguste Moreau (French,1834) bronze sculpture of "Cupid and Psyche", depicts winged Eros as Cupid God of Love, portrayed acting blindly so his eyes are covered with a blindfold as he wields the flame of love in his right arm. Young Psykhe is kneeling on his right side, waving to Eros wondering why she cannot been seen by him. Both figures rest upon a circular plinth of foliage. With a black marble base.
