American Renaissance Revival Rosewood and Bronze-Mounted Etagere

ca. 1865, attributed to Pottier & Stymus, New York, the arched crest with ebonized and parcel-gilt details and a central, oval inlaid plaque, the body with a central, beveled mirror flanked by a tall, concave niche to each side, fitted with circular shelves, and a gilt-bronze mount of a maiden at the upper front corners, the incurved base with a cast-bronze trim.

In "as found" condition. All of the decorative elements appear to be present. Three of the outer round shelves have cracked and glued repairs. Two of them have chipped losses to their rims. Scuffs, dings, and light wear along the lower base moldings. Scuffs and minor scratches to the deck from use. Appears to retain its original finish with a very pleasing overall patina.
