Collection of Royal Copenhagen "Flora Danica" Porcelain

comprising a large rim soup bowl, model 3545, depicting "Ranunculus bulbosus L.", dia. 9-3/4"; two dinner plates, model 3549, depicting "Leontodon obliquus Horn." and "Plantago arenaria Kit.", dia. 10"; and a pickle dish, model 3543, depicting "Saxifraga cernua L.", h. 2", w. 7", d. 4"; all fully marked and dated mid to late 1960s; along with two salad/dessert plates depicting "Potentilla maculata. (Gronlana)" and "Aira flexursa.", dia. 8-1/2", both otherwise marked solely with underglaze wavy blue lines and variations to the rim decoration, possibly late 19th century.


Provenance: Estate of John Macaulay Bruton, Mexico City, Mexico and New Orleans, Louisiana.

In overall good condition. Minimal mold separation under glaze to one 8.5" plate. Overall rubbing to gilt edges throughout. Minimal wear to bases. All consistent with age and use.
