Description

A one horse open sleigh with original shaft and in original red and green paint - label applied to back of seat, partially legible that reads "Peck & xxx & Co. / Bridgeport Conn". The seat with losses to upholstery and some wear & losses to rolled front section of sled (see images). Barn found and needs cleaning but overall good structural condition with good frame and good wheels but in need of some restoration. Provenance: Found in a barn in Redding Connecticut. Measures 75"L x 39"W x 54"H - the shaft is 89"L. The sled can be picked up at our auction hall and is available for preview the week of sale - the buggies, which follow, can only be previewed and picked up in Redding CT.
