Description
A pair of mid-century modern lounge chairs attributed to Jon Van Koert, with unusual horse-shoe shaped upholstered seats and back and having walnut or teakwood frames, signed Drexel, circa 1960. Note that Van Koert designed furniture for Drexel, where his designs were presented in the show rooms of department stores such as Macy's and Bloomingdale's - this style, he also produced for other companies. One with slight scratches on the top back corner of the frame, else good condition. Each measures 26 3/4"W x 25"D x 26"H x 17"H (seat height).
