Carved Wood Painted Santo Figure, 19th c., clad in a blue silk robe, probably South American, H.- 15 1/2 in., W.- 8 1/4 in., D.- 4 3/4 in.
As found condition. Three fingers missing from right hand and two missing from left hand. Tip of right foot broken and reattached. Silk robe torn in many places below the waist. Top layer of paint flaking on figure’s face and all four limbs giving a streaky appearance.
