Ashton Dual Steam Locomotive Gauge - Steam Chest and Back Pressure

Item Details

Description

A really nice example of a Ashton dual gauge from a steam locomotive. The gauge bezel measures 7 1/4" in diameter while the back mounting plate of the gauge measures 8 1/2". The two needles on the gauge were to measure steam chest pressure and back pressure. The dial face is in good condition with the exception of some slight curling at the lower edge. The gauge face has L4s and 183 written in small hand writing. There is a 3" section of the mounting flange missing, but all the mounting holes are intact. See photos for best description.
