For your consideration is a singed Zuni Native American Kachina dancer bolo tie done by Zuni silversmith Jonathan Beyuka. This tie is constructed of black braided leather with sterling silver aglet tips. The bolo is a fantastic example of Zuni craftsmanship. The image depicts a Kachina dancer with Eagle costume. The Eagle represents strength & power. He is the ruler of the sky and the messenger to the heavens. The bolo is inlaid with carved turquoise, mother of pearl spiny oyster, onyx, and catlanite / pipestone. The gems are set on a sterling silver backing that is signed by the artist. The bolo shows good condition overall with no signs of wear or obvious damage present. The bolo from loop to aglet tips measures 23 1/8" L, while the pendant measures 2 3/4" L x 2 3/4" W. The bolo tie weighs 43.3 grams.
