VICTORIAN MARY GREGORY (SO-CALLED) DECORATED JEWEL CASKET / DRESSER BOX, opaque black, rectangular form with hinged-lid having detailed white-enamel decoration of children playing under a tree with village in background, additional floral and butterfly decorations to sides, set with brass mounts including cast-bail handles to ends and raised on a framed base having cast-brass corner Old-Man-of-the-North masks and hoof feet. Circa 1880. 5" H, 7 1/2 x 6 1/2".
