20TH CENTURY MARY GREGORY (SO-CALLED) PAIR OF PICKLE CASTERS, amethyst with white enamel-decoration, ovoid form with decoration depicting women holding birds in their hands next to a tree, fitted into a quadruple-plate stand marked for "JAMES TUFTS" and numbered "3618", comes with a fork and quadruple-plate covers. Maker unverified. 20th century. Stand: 8 1/2" HOA, 8 1/2" WOA. Inserts: 4 1/2" H.
