C. W. CAHOON "TOM THUMB DIRIGO" NO. 0 KEROSENE LIP BURNER AND CHIMNEY, brass, thumbwheel stamped "TOM THUMB / DIRIGO", and on top of thumb rest "CHA'S W. CAHOON / PAT'D FEB. 19 & DEC. 3 1861", circle and diamond embossing, and a colorless lip chimney. Fitted on a Berkshire finger lamp with colorless applied handle, No. 1 fine-line collar. Third quarter 19th century. Chimney 5 3/8" H, 1 1/4" D fitter.
